Player Placement/Try-Outs

OVERVIEW

The VICTORY RUSH PLAYER PLACEMENT SESSIONS will be an exciting chance to learn about Victory, our club philosophy, and what to expect in the coming year as a Victory member. Because every player is unique and will thrive most effectively on a team which best fits him/her according to his/her talent, physical abilities, and experience, we seek to provide as warm and positive environment as possible for players so that the coaching staff can properly observe, assess, and place them on to teams where they will thrive, enjoy, and grow in the beautiful game.

GOALS

  1. To provide an opportunity for new prospective players to learn about Victory and potentially join one of our competitive teams for the 2024-2025 season.

  2. To identify and accurately place players appropriately on one of the Victory Rush competitive teams based on age, ability, character, and team chemistry.

  3. To continue growing Victory Rush into a strong powerhouse in the Denver soccer landscape.

TRY-OUT DETAILS

  • Dates: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, May 29-31

  • Time: 5:30-7:30 PM (Please arrive by 5:15 for in-person check-in and a sharp start at 5:30 PM)

  • Training groups will be formed based on gender and age.

  • The training sessions will consist of small group technical training, small sided competition (3v3 or 4v4), and a large match (Game size will be determined by the numbers at training) in order to effectively observe and assess every player in various game-related situations.
